PARTHENIS, Christos is an Assistant Professor of Pedagogy at the University of Athens, with a Subject: “Theory and Practice of Intercultural Education”. Since 1997 he has been responsible for the physical and financial field of the European - Educational Programs for the integration of foreign and repatriated children into Primary and Secondary Education, implemented by the Center of Intercultural Education of the University of Athens. Since 2013 he is the Scientific Director of the Roma Children Education Project. He is the author of many published articles as well as books. VISINTINI, Gloria is an academic educator, responsible for digital education in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bristol. After teaching Italian for several years in the School of Modern Languages, in 2011 her role was extended to inspire and empower colleagues across the Faculty of Arts to teach through innovative methods in order to help students become confident and autonomous learners, fluent in the use of different technologies, and to develop multiple skills. KOSTOULA, E. Vasiliki, (MEd), was born in Rhodes, Greece. She holds a BA from the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1995) and a MA in Models of Educational Planning and Development, of the Department of Sciences of Preschool Education and Educational Design, University of the Aegean (2016). She is currently working on her PhD thesis in the field of verbal and nonverbal communication. She is a deputy head teacher in an Upper Secondary General School located in Rhodes island-Greece. She is the coordinator of teachers’ professional development activities in her school unit. She has published papers in educational journals. Currently, she is a PhD student in the field of Nonverbal Communication.
Vassiou, Aikaterini
VASIOU, Aikaterini is an Assistant Professor in Methodological approaches in the Department of Primary Education at the University of Crete, Greece. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Thessaly, while as part of an Excellence scholarship she conducted post-doctoral research in School Psychology and Counseling at the University of Western Macedonia. She has participated in an Experimental Study research program at the Kapodistrian University of Athens and in Mental Health research programs at the University of the Aegean. VÍT, Marek is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Pardubice, Czech Republic. Together with Helena Zitková he teaches courses focusing on using popular songs in ELT classes. He is also the co-founder of the popular Czech ESL/EFL portal Help for English (www.helpforenglish.cz) and the co-author of the online learning application English Me (www.englishme.cz). He has a wealth of experience as educator at elementary, high school and college levels. He was awarded the LABEL Award “European Language Teacher of 2008” by the Czech Ministry of Education. SIOULI, Lamprini is a PhD candidate of Pedagogy at University of Athens. She has a degree in Greek literature, and a degree in Primary Education, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the Department of Philosophy. NUTTALL, Amanda is Associate Professor in the School of Teacher Education at Leeds Trinity University and a DPhil student at the Department of Education, University of Oxford. Prior to working in higher education, she spent 13 years teaching in primary schools serving predominantly disadvantaged communities. Her doctoral study is focused on building a rich understanding of how teachers experience transitions and revisions in their identity[ies] as they engage in Master’s level research activity.
