Professor Hsiao-Hwa Chen is the Director of the Institute ofCommunications Engineering at the National Sun Yat-Sen University,Tawian.
Professor Mohsen Guizani is currently an AssociateProfessor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering department ofthe University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to joining theUniversity, he was with the Faculty of Computer EngineeringDepartment at the University of Petroleum and Minerals, SaudiArabia. His research interests include Computer Networks, OpticalInterconnection Networks for Massively Parallel Computers, Designand Analysis of high-speed network protocols, performanceevaluation of computer systems, and wireless communications andnetworking. He served as a guest editor in the InternationalJournal of Computer Systems and Networks, special issue on "ATMSwitching/Networking Architectures and Performance", a guest editorof a special issue in the INFORMATICA Journal on "Design Issues ofGigabit Networking", and a guest editor of a special issue of theInternational Journal of Communication Systems on "Wireless LocalLoops and Wireless ATM Networks".
