HA-JOON CHANG teaches development economics and institutional economics at the Faculty of Economics and Politics, University of Cambridge. He has published many articles covering a wide range of subjects including the theories of the state, institutional economics, privatization, industrial policy, and the East Asian development experience. He has aslo edited two books, (with Peter Nolan, also from Macmillan) and (with Robert Rowthorn).
