James H. Bray is Associate Professor in the Department ofFamily and Community Medicine, Director of the Family CounselingClinic at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He haspublished and presented numerous works in the areas of divorce,remarriage, adolescent substance use, intergenerational familyrelationships, and collaboration between physicians andpsychologists. He was the principal investigator of the federallyfunded longitudinal study, Developmental Issues in Step FamiliesResearch Project. He is currently working on a federally fundedproject on alcohol and other drug abuse in families withadolescents, the Baylor Adolescent Alcohol Project. He is the 2009President of the American Psychological Association.
Mark Stanton is Professor of Psychology and Dean ofthe School of Behavioral and Applied Sciences atAzusa Pacific University, California. He is certified in FamilyPsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychologyand a licensed psychologist in the state of California. He wasPresident of the Society of Family Psychology of the AmericanPsychological Association in 2005, Editor of The FamilyPsychologist from 2002 to 2007, and awarded the FamilyPsychologist of the Year in 2007 by the Society of FamilyPsychology.
