Peter Bisschop, Ph.D. (2004), University of Groningen, is Professor of Sanskrit and Ancient Cultures of South Asia at Leiden University. He is the author of several books, including Universal Saivism: The Appeasement of All Gods and Powers in the Santyadhyaya of the Sivadharmasastra (Brill, 2018).

Yuko Yokochi, Ph.D. (2005), University of Groningen, is Professor of Sanskrit Literature at the Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University. She is the author of The Skandapurana III (Egbert Forsten / Brill, 2013), The Skandapurana IIB (Brill, 2014) and The Skandapurana IV (Brill, 2018).
