Akeel Bilgrami is the Sidney Morgenbesser Professor of Philosophy and a professor on the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University. His books include Who's Afraid of Academic Freedom?; Secularism, Identity, and Enchantment; Self-Knowledge and Resentment; and Belief and Meaning.
