[Public Health]
Public concern for the health of the population has once again shown its relevance and its problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. Problems of the health systems and international health justice, the political and economic embedding of health care and welfare, but also interpretative schemes of diseases and physical practices became visible. As a subject of ethics, public health requires a systematic treatment in which problems of medical ethics are to be considered in connection with questions of social ethics, political ethics and the ethics of lifestyle. The volume combines social and medical-ethical, legal, historical, body-theoretical and work-sociological analyses with theological perspectives.
