BIKRAMJIT BASU, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Departmentof Materials and Metallurgical Engineering at the Indian Instituteof Technology Kanpur. His research interests include ceramic andpolymer-based biocompatible materials, nanoceramics and nanoceramiccomposites, and tribology of advanced materials. He received theCoble Award of the American Ceramic Society in 2008 and wasrecognized by the Indian National Science Academy and the IndianNational Academy of Engineering.
DHIRENDRA S. KATTI, PhD, is an Associate Professor in theDepartment of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at the IndianInstitute of Technology Kanpur. His research interests includepolymeric biomaterials, drug delivery systems, tissue engineering,and nanotechnology.
ASHOK KUMAR, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department ofBiological Sciences and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute ofTechnology Kanpur. His research interests include the design ofsupermacroporous polymeric materials and smart polymers forapplication in tissue engineering, development of cell separationtechnology, extracorporeal medical devices, and high-throughputanalysis. His other research interests include bioprocessengineering, biosensors, and environmental biotechnology.
