Les Back is Professor of Sociology at Goldsmiths, Universityof London.
Andy Bennett is Professor of Cultural Sociology andDirector of the Griffith Centre for Cultural Research at GriffithUniversity in Queensland, Australia. He has authored and editednumerous books including Popular Music and Youth Culture,Cultures of Popular Music (2001), RememberingWoodstock (2004), and Music Scenes (edited with RichardA. Peterson, 2004). He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal ofSociology.
Laura Desfor Edles is Professor ofSociology at California State University, Northridge.
Margaret Gibson is Senior Lecturer in Sociology atGriffith University.
David Inglis is Professor of Sociology at the Universityof Aberdeen, UK. He has written in the areas of the history ofsocial thought, historical sociology, the sociologies of culture,art and aesthetics, and the cultural sociology of globalization. Heis founding editor of the journal Cultural Sociology.
Ronald Jacobs is Associate Professor of Sociology at University at Albany, State University of New York. He is theauthor of Race, Media and the Crisis of Civil Society (2000)and The Space of Opinion (2011), and co-editor of OxfordHandbook of Cultural Sociology (2011).
Ian Woodward is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at GriffithUniversity.
