Dr. Khaleel Ahmad iscurrently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science &Information Technology at Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad. Hehas more than nine years of teaching and research experience. He worked as aVisiting SERB International Research Fellow in the Department of ComputerScience, University of Pisa, Italy, under the SERB International ResearchExperience (SIRE) Fellowship Programme funded by the Science and EngineeringResearch Board (SERB), Government of India for six months. He visited theNational Defence University of Malaysia, Malaysia, as a Visiting Faculty from26 December 2018 to 6 January 2019. He completed one Research Project of 01.05Lakh. He received a UGC-MANUU National Travel Grant in 2014. He has received thebest paper award at two conferences in Malaysia and India. He coordinated twoFaculty Development Programmes sponsored by DRDO and NITTTR, Bhopal. He hassupervised one Ph.D. student, 07 M.Tech. students, and several B. Techstudents, along with many MCA research projects. His research areas areBlockchain Technology, Cyber Security, Cryptography, and OpportunisticNetworks. He has filed two patents from Malaysia in collaboration with theNational Defence University of Malaysia. He has published more than 50 papersin refereed Journals and conferences (viz. Nature, Elsevier, ACM, IEEE, andSpringer) and 20 book chapters (Springer, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, IGIGlobal). He has edited four books published by Springer, Taylor & Francis,and Wiley. He servedas an Analytics Architect in CenturyLink for over a year in Denver, CO, USA.Currently, he has been serving as a senior faculty (temporary) in theDepartment of Computer Engineering at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. Hepossesses an excellent academic record with an MS degree in Molecular Scienceand Nanotechnology and a Ph.D. in Engineering from Louisiana Tech UniversityRuston, LA, USA, respectively. He has completed a Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech.) from the Faculty of Engineering, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, anda Master of Technology (M.Tech.) from the National Institute of Technology,Srinagar, J&K (NIT Srinagar). Before joining the School of Technology,MANUU, Hyderabad, as an Assistant Professor, he worked as Guest Faculty in theDepartment of Electronics Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, U.P.for over a year. Dr. Rizvi has more than 29 years of experiencein the field of Computer Science and Applications as a faculty (Professor andDean) at the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research,Bhopal (NITTTR) a Govt. of India Institute. He has published approximately 140research papers in reputed International Journals and International Conferencesacross the globe. He has published three patents and two copyrights on facialRecognition Algorithms and Computer vision-based automatic attendancecalculation and updating systems. He has attended many International/ NationalConferences in India and abroad to present his research papers.
