Outlines new experimental approaches

This collection of papers presents new experimental approaches in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of macular and retinal diseases. Two different techniques are described which aim to restore vision in the macular area. Transplantation into the subretinal space is a possibility that is now starting to have clinical applications.
