Jonathan Wesley is queer in every way and an interdisciplinary pracdivist (Practitioner-Academic-Artist-Activist) who loves to transform lives, one experience at a time. As a product of the impoverished inner-cities of Newark/Irvington, NJ, Wesley found a lifeline in the arts and faith spaces. The intersecting identities and evolution of life provoked him to pursue higher education upon completing high school. He holds a B.A. in Sociology, Master's degrees in Education, Religion and Public Life, Graduate Certificates in Pastoral Care/Counseling and Leadership, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies. Wesley lives by the mantra "If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain". He currently serves as the inaugural Managing Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer) for a well established non-profit organization in New York while also serving as a Pastor in all spaces where there are people in New Jersey. Wesley is also the best selling author of "You Said One Thing: God Said Differently" which addresses the reconciliation of sexuality and spirituality.
