Über Autor(innen)

The Author: Werner Warmbrunn is Professor Emeritus of History at Pitzer College. A United States citizen born in Germany, he received his B.A. from Cornell University and his Ph.D. from Stanford University. He served for twelve years as Foreign Student Advisor and Director of the Stanford University International Center. Dr. Warmbrunn is the author of The Dutch Under German Occupation 1940-1944, which remains the standard work on this topic in English. He has been the recipient of a number of grants and awards including a Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship in Germany.
