Über Autor(innen)

Rebecca Groom te Velde received her B.A. from Seattle Pacific University (1978), where her teacher for organ, composition, and church music was her father, Lester H. Groom. She later studied at the University of Western Ontario, Canada and the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany. She has served as organist of First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma since 1991, and as adjunct instructor for music appreciation at Oklahoma State University
since 1999. She has performed in many states as well as in Germany, Switzerland, England, and Canada, and has also had articles published in The Musical Times and The American Organist.
