This practically oriented casebook presents the currently available methods of swallowing diagnosis and typical findings in neurogenic dysphagia on the basis of case reports. Durwen is a specialist in neurology with additional qualifications in clinical geriatrics and psychotherapy, former head physician in the Department of Acute Geriatrics and Neurogeriatrics at St. Martinus Hospital in Düsseldorf and head of the Institute for Medical Assessment and Consultation in Cologne.
