Joshua W. Busby is an Assistant Professor in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas, Austin. He is also the Crook Distinguished Scholar at the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law. Ethan B. Kapstein is Arizona Centennial Professor of International Affairs at the McCain Institute of International Leadership, Arizona State University. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Global Development in Washington DC. A former naval officer and international banker, Kapstein is the author or editor of ten books and scores of professional articles including The Fate of Young Democracies (Cambridge University Press, 2008).
