Kevin J. Gaston is Professor of Biodiversity andConservation at the University of Sheffield. He has broad researchinterests in the fields of biodiversity, macroecology andconservation biology.
John I. Spicer is a Reader in Marine Biology at theUniversity of Plymouth. His research interests range from theecophysiology of marine animals through to the functionalbiodiversity of marine systems.
