Marc Remacle is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Louvain, Belgium, and is in charge of voice and swallowing disorders at the ENT Department of the Luxembourg Hospital Center, Luxembourg. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the European Archives of Oto-rhino-laryngology, and a founding member and former General Secretary of the European Laryngological Society, and a founding member and past President of the Confederation for European Oto-rhino-laryngology and Head & Neck Surgery. His main interests include the applications of laser-assisted and robotic surgery to laryngology and head and neck surgery

Hans Edmund Eckel is an internationally respected laryngologist and head & neck surgeon. He is Head of the Oto-rhino-laryngology Department in Klagenfurt, Austria. He is past President of the European Laryngological Society, the Austrian Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngolgy, Head and Neck Surgery, and the Confederation of the European ORL-Head & Neck surgery. He has published landmark papers on laser-assisted transoral microsurgery. He is also an editorial board member of the European Archives of ORL-Head Neck Surgery. His main interests are laryngology and applications of laser-assisted surgery.
