Die Zeitschrift für Orient-Archäologie (ZOrA, ISSN 1868-9078) ist eine Neugründung der Orient-Abteilung des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts. Sie erscheint seit dem Jahr 2008 jährlich. Die ZOrA enthält ausführliche und grundlegende Beiträge zu den neuesten internationalen Forschungen auf dem Gebiet der Archäologie der Levante, Mesopotamiens und der Arabischen Halbinsel. Die ZOrA stellt ein Publikationsorgan dar, das überregionale Forschungsperspektiven stärker in den Vordergrund rückt. Mit dem Erscheinen der ZOrA wurden die bisherigen regional ausgerichteten Zeitschriften der Orient-Abteilung, Baghdader Mitteilungen und Damaszener Mitteilungen, eingestellt.
