Chapter Four: Spiritual Battles The first step in this new knowledge is to understand spiritual battles. Simply put, a spiritual battle is when God, or Infinite Mind, commands or forbids you, to utter something or perform some act. You have the gift of choice, or free will, so it is within your right to comply or refuse. Any reluctance between the command and your compliance or refusal, is what the Holy Spirits called “being in the valley of decision.” For some issues this hesitation may be short; for others it might be longer, or much longer. You may decide to submit immediately and later waiver. Again, you are in the valley of decision. Basically, this is a spiritual battle. This process continues until you make a choice. Or, you may refuse all together. In this instance, you have “chosen your own destiny”9 without any divine protection on that level in your life. The Holy Spirits will not intervene to either shield you or cause events in your life for protection or reward for compliance. A simple way to understand a spiritual battle is to know that they occur when a choice must be made, and one person or group is in harmony with the will of God and the other is not; or when an individual or group must decide between good and evil. They occur when there is doubt. Their objects are obedience or repentance for some ill choice you made in the past. Obedience demonstrates your greater readiness for the Third Covenant with a closer relationship with Infinite Mind and Her love of you. We will talk more about spiritual battles as we go on. Awaki on December 26, 1995: When you are unsure, there is noises, voices of concern, voices of reasoning, voices of logic, voices of foolishness. Noises. That gnawing I mentioned earlier is a spiritual battle occurring in your life. Infinite Mind may be directing you to change something, to reject evil and to seek His righteousness in all you say or do. It may seem nonsensical or ill-timed from your standpoint. It may involve a specific choice, or a broad promise that from here forward, you will choose of Him. It may be something life altering or insignificant to you. Most times you do not understand the reason for the command and thus your true faith is tested. During this discussion, the righteous Shakardak gave an extensive definition of spiritual battles. He speaks of the forms they can take when they involve an individual and how victory is won by choosing (“drawing your sword”) righteousness. He also touches on subjects we will explain more fully later. Shakardak on January 18, 1996: Spiritual battles take on many different appearances. They can be battles fought by a being. They can be battles fought by many beings. They can be battles fought by the unseen with the unseen. In order to recognize that which you are being prepared for, they shall not mask or hide themselves, for in their vainness, they seek to know you and destroy you. At that time, you must draw your sword and, in faith, conquer these warriors of wickedness and deception. Prophet: Are these warrior’s other entities? These warriors of wickedness and deception? Are they human beings? Shakardak: They have to be for you could not fight anything not of this world. Prophet: Okay. What is the goal or what is the objective in the spiritual battle? Shakardak: The first goal – the first will with your universe was obedience. The second was that of repentance. And then the third calls into being of the final and last covenant of the Infinite Mind will make with these people, will be that of love. There will be impossible, that hatred, anger, and will never touch the faces of the children of the Infinite Mind again. There will be the final covenant. Are there any other questions that you desire of me? Prophet: Yes. When you talk of the goals of the spiritual battles, I understand how obedience can be one goal, but I don’t understand how repentance comes into play. Shakardak: In the Second Covenant, that which is this universe acquired mercy from the Infinite Mind through repentance, for the Son Universe came so that you could ask for forgiveness for all that you had done to corrupt yourselves. Repentance is not for a remission of sin for you were sinners from the day that the Almighty created you, for He knows all things. Repentance is for your own belief, to strengthen your faith, to give you something to strive for to better yourselves, to love one another, to create a humanity of light. It is vital to note that Shakardak speaks of interactions between human beings; not the Elium Lords of Darkness or “the devils” as they are called. With true faith in God we must say or do the right thing, and not worry about the consequences. Argue the righteous position in a discussion. Confront an opponent. If they are firm or give excuses for not doing the right thing, internally recognize this about them. Knowingly or unknowingly they may be an agent of the Elium Lords and confuse you into joining their shenanigans. Do not relent; neither should you try to convince them to see their wrongdoing. This would be a waste of time because they have already chosen disobedience, which is their choice because they, too, have free will. Shakardak then explains that the first objective in a spiritual battle is obedience to God. Note that this is the same as in the First Covenant Infinite Mind made with the Israelites by revealing his law to Moses. God, seeing our incapability, entered the Second Covenant when Jah secured our ability to repent and be favorable in the sight of God once again when we had chosen not to be righteous. In the Third and final Covenant, all that is not of God, including people, will be destroyed. The righteous ones will reside in a world in which the light of God shines everywhere. It is not my wish to be too theoretical or complicated. God endowed you with a mind to use. You know the difference between right and wrong, righteousness and unrighteousness. Spiritual battles do not include all you say or do; only acts instructed by Infinite Mind. A deed not required by God is at your discretion and there is no consequence to its performance. Something like what kind of tooth paste you use when you brush your teeth, who you marry, or what kind of car you should buy are examples. How do you know when you are engaged in a spiritual battle or that an issue is important? In each person, there will be an internal knowing. Each person is different and may internally perceive it in their own unique way. It may feel like a “quivering” feeling within; it may be perceived as a “feeling that everything stops” or something just doesn’t feel right. If you were to ask your soul [God] internally, “What shall I do?” Something will let you know instantaneously, and it will be clear and without confusion. You already do this all the time in the choices you make before you take a verbal position or complete, or not complete, an act. You were created to choose Infinite Mind all the time in what you say or do in key things. You were also given the gift of free will and so must choose. When you choose obedience, and submit to an act God decreed, Infinite Mind bestows immediate favor and advancement of your soul when your life is finished in this universe, and your body perishes. When you ask God for a blessing or pray in this state, He orders it and much more may be granted, all in the time of Infinite Mind. Your mind is at peace with your soul. When you choose not to perform an act commanded by God and disobey, it’s not like you are destroyed on the spot, or struck by lightning. Fire will not rain down on your head. You become outside of His protection and grace because you have “chosen your own destiny,” as the Holy Spirits called it. Without His holy protection, you become vulnerable to the attacks of the Elium Lords of Darkness led by Lucifer. Eventually, and after creating havoc and destruction in your life, the Elium Lords will abandon you and your life gets worse and worse and becomes chaotic. It is just that you should make the right choice and say or do what is right. Otherwise you will not have God’s protection. The Elium Lords know your weaknesses and will continue to capitalize on them to the point where your disobedience becomes a habit, or your “life path.” You would be used to tempt others to join your foolishness. At that point, you have become an agent of the Elium Lords whether you are aware of it or not. See it as a person who lies all the time when they talk. They have done it so much that it is a habit. You have the choice to tell them either not to lie because in the end the truth will come out, be silent, or join them in their lie to the point that it becomes a habit for you as well. In this state, you no longer have a divine umbrella protecting you from the rain of attacks by the Elium Lords who will encourage you to lie more. You become so soaked with lies that people never believe you and avoid you. You lose your job. Your lies make things tumultuous in your life or things are always going wrong. You become depressed, doubt your own abilities, eventually lose your belongings, and your prayers become hollow when the blessings of Infinite Mind cease. This is the time for repentance. Let’s say that at this juncture you now begin to wonder if you should stop lying all the time. Very legitimately, you wonder if this is a divine command – and perhaps you should stop lying.
