Val Clerehugh is Professor of Periodontology at Leeds DentalInstitute, University of Leeds, UK. Professor Clerehugh has beenthe Honorary Editor and President of the British Society ofPeriodontology, Clinical Editor of the British DentalJournal and Associate Editor of the Journal ofDentistry.
She is joined by Aradhna Tugnait, who is Lecturer in RestorativeDentistry, also at Leeds. Dr Tugnait has a key leadership role inundergraduate dental education at Leeds Dental Institute and herresearch interests include periodontal microbiology and the role ofradiographs in periodontal diagnosis.
Robert Genco is Distinguished Professor of Oral Biology andMicrobiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA.Professor Genco is a senior figure in the American Academy ofPeriodontology and was Editor-in-Chief of the Journal ofPeriodontology for 18 years.
