H. KENT BAKER, PhD, CFA, CMA, is University Professor ofFinance and Kogod Research Professor at the Kogod School ofBusiness at American University, Washington, D.C. As one of themost prolific finance academics, he has published 16 books, andmore than 150 refereed articles in such publications as theJournal of Finance, Journal of Financial and QuantitativeAnalysis, Financial Management, Financial Analysts Journal, Journalof Portfolio Management, and Harvard Business Review. Hehas consulting and training experience with more than 100organizations. Professor Baker holds a BSBA from GeorgetownUniversity; MEd, MBA, and DBA degrees from the University ofMaryland; and a MA, MS, and two PhDs from American University. Healso holds CFA and CMA designations.
JOHN R. NOFSINGER is a Professor of Finance and NihoulFaculty Fellow at Washington State University. He is one of theworld's leading experts in behavioral finance and is a frequentspeaker on this topic and socially responsible finance atinvestment management conferences, universities, and academicconferences. Professor Nofsinger has also published more than 50articles in scholarly and practitioner journals. His research hasappeared in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Business, Journalof Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of CorporateFinance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Management,Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Behavioral DecisionMaking, and many others. Professor Nofsinger earned a PhD infinance from Washington State University.
